Memphis rapper Duke Duece traveled to Fort Smith, Arkansas, in July 2025 for “Thunder in the Fort”, a parade celebration for hometown NBA champions of the OKC Thunder, Isaiah Joe and Jaylin Williams. As a part of this hometown celebration, Duke Duece performed at The Bakery District, captivating downtown Fort Smith with his hit hits like “Crunk Ain‘t Dead” and “Stomp Em Out”. Duke Duece eventually had the champs join him on stage, and the crowd erupted. This homecoming parade for Joe and Williams gave life to the city of Fort Smith, and having Duke Duece show everyone the crunk is not dead was just the cherry on top.
